PREDICTRIX
Predictrix is a speculative interactive experience that examines how algorithmic decision-making systems shape individual outcomes. The project simulates a data-driven environment in which user inputs are continuously analyzed, scored, and translated into future-facing predictions.
The work is informed by contemporary concerns around predictive systems—particularly in contexts such as risk assessment and predictive policing—where historical data and opaque models can reinforce existing social disparities. Rather than presenting these dynamics abstractly, Predictrix makes the scoring process visible and experiential.

What This Demonstrates
Through a staged user journey, participants submit personal data, receive algorithmic evaluations, and navigate branching outcomes based on their assigned risk profile. This interaction framework exposes how automated judgments can influence access, mobility, and perceived trustworthiness.
By externalizing otherwise invisible decision logic, the project explores how experience design can surface issues of transparency, agency, and systemic bias within AI-mediated environments.
